When you arrive at Torview Swim and Tennis you know you’ve entered a very special place. Torview is a 13 acre oasis, unlike anything in Northern Westchester. The beautiful outdoor grounds, full size pool and professional clay tennis courts create a true haven in the heart of Ossining.

At Torview Summer Camp children will be guided through a full day of activities in an atmosphere free of pressure. Campers can choose swimming, playing games, arts and crafts, playing in the gaga pit, or learning tennis from our professional tennis instructor. With so much to offer, our focus will always be to let children be children in a safe, supported and fun outdoor environment.

What We Do

Torview camp offers a rich variety of activities from which the children can choose to participate. Each day the campers will meet up with their counselors in the morning and then head off to join the swim team practice, take swim lessons, play tennis, do arts and crafts or join their group for other activities. Our spacious-fenced in grounds are an environment that invites exploration, genuine play, and relaxation.

Counselors and Staff

We are committed to a safe, fulfilling experience for every child. All our activities are well supervised by a Camp Director and trained counselors, there is always attention and guidance for every child. The pool is supervised at all times by certified lifeguards and we have a full time Registered Nurse on call.

Camp Sessions

10 one-week sessions; Full day Monday-Friday; 9am-4pm (closed on 4th of July and in cases of severe weather)

2024 Member Weekly Rate - $350 per week (tax included) *subject to change for 2024

For Non-Member Guests - Member campers who are registered for the week are allowed to bring ONE non-member guest to attend camp with them that week. Non-member campers must be at the personal invitation of the member, and non-member space is subject to availability. Non-member weekly rate is $450 (2023 pricing, subject to change for 2024).

Camp Age Groups

Torview Summer Camp serves ages 5 to 14.

Camp Activities

SWIMMING/SWIM TEAM

Certified lifeguards give optional daily swim lessons and water orientation to each camper. Free-swim time is offered all afternoon. If a camper is interested in joining Torview Swim Team, practice will take place daily at 9:30a. Visit torview.com/swimteam for more information.

TENNIS

Taught by Torview Tennis Pro Ken Jordan and Assistant Coaches, campers will have the opportunity to participate in daily tennis lessons and other fun activities on the courts!

TRADITIONAL ARTS & CRAFTS

Our camp counselors will conduct daily arts and crafts activities which will include explorations of the grounds and other group activities.

RECREATION

The Torview campus is a unique and expansive natural setting with lawns, fields, shady oaks and pines. Our counselors will organize field sports of kickball, soccer, basketball, capture the flag, etc.
